The main man in this decoding stuff is Trioxx. So i hope u guys help me out.
There's really nothing you can do to prevent it being pirated. The truth is, people who want to pirate it will figure a way around it, no matter which solution you use. And those who want to use your program legally will probably find the encryption to be a pain in the ass. Personally, I never do the encryption thing. When someone buys a program from me, they should own it, and be able to see every line of code and change it if they please.
Big companies like vbulletin and IPB cant stop it for u as an individual it will be tougher..through reverse engeering scripts can be decoded its better u just create a license based system and encode that part of it in the script
welcome to the spirit of Ubuntu.. you can not hide your secret/knowledge, some one will figure out how to crack it.. that the real world.
Yes, nothing is 100% protect! Agree with Bohra If your code is famous and popurlar, you cannot protect it from nullers. PHPLockit!, Byterun, Codelock are easy to decode. I don't know about PHPCipher, Sourcecop, Truebug, PHPIon, Zorex Cryptz I think Zend and ionCube are best for you. They are hard to decode
Zend and ionCube are good but if you use them and when your sell your script the person who is running the script would also need to install Zend or ionCube on their end to make your script run on their end also
