I've been selling online, using paypal as my payment gateway, since 2003. In all that time I have had hundreds of transactions and maybe 5 charge backs. Paypal is, in my opinion, very safe.
What are you trying to say Exactly. If you are selling your Paypal balance for like for example currency exchanges they could do a ChargeBack and you could lose the money. If you are buying something online just make sure that it says www.PayPal.com in the url and your not being redirected to a phising site.

paypal is safe way to move money, you just have to be careful that you log onto paypal.com and not just click on a link which might take you to another site
The hackers get you if you sell paypal money but yet millions of people still use the service. That might just be a hint that you can indeed use paypal without your account getting hacked. I could be wrong though all my paypal accounts may already be hacked!
Yes beware of spoof emails. I got one the other day saying I sold an item on ebay when I didn't. If you have any doubts contact paypal
