I am Halal - A new search engine!

A Search Engine for Muslims, Extending the concept of halal and haram on the Internet, Ramadan Kareem has a search engine with the name I am Halal which can only prevent you (Muslims and non-Muslims) 'coincidental' meeting explicitly (or "haram"), of Internet content.

When you do a search, for example, sex, may recover haram "would result in the search engine and you may ask to confirm it,

if you really want to see results. If you say yes, it fetches the corresponding pages, but also filters the content that is not as a family-safe.

To the original thread starter, that's a great search engine but I wonder if it will actually grab the attention of the billions of people.

I search "tits" and it blocked it, looks like it knows it's Halal/Haram well.

I think they them self crawl the sites and they got their own algorithm as the search results vary from all the major search engines.

 

Yeah! Results are filtered through Halal algorithim which is good to see it

i checked, this search engine is using Yahoo API. but using his own values to filter specific words. anyone can create same search engine, if imhalal want to come up, they should have their own search engine and own server.
