Someone wrote a really good article.. Onsite SEO For Noobs Now am ranking for a keyword in top 10 which has 1 million searches every month
we can manage all meta tag easily but all webmasters need to have a lot of one way links to get top 10 in google for long time and then drive a flood of free traffic
Honestly, half that information is either wrong or completely worthless. Why would you split up an article in many articles? Metatags are not a good alternative to a proper description for SEO seeing as google ingores meta tags. An article about on site seo using the permalink style that says "Topic=1159" clearly hasn't even optimized their own site yet... (Unless this wasn't written by the owner rather somebody else, in which case, it's just the poor information).
Thanks for saving me some wind my friend Your assessment is accurate. This sort of plop has been surfacing with way to much regularity around here this week. Nigel
What an asshole. Either your new to seo or your just ignorant. When you would be able to rank for a query that gets 1 million + searches, you can let me know..
I'm with Itallianhawk and Nigel on this one. It's precisly this type of bad and conflicting information that confuses the honest beginners. Rank for a term with only one million searches (what per year?) There are couple of people here that do that regulary for a living!
I have 3 front page results on a term with 28,200,000 results straight up, 934,000 results when the keyword is in quotes, and 40,000 with allintitle: before the search term. Monthly searches is 135,000 so yearly, it get's 1,000,000+ searches, not to mention I have 3 front page results, 2, 3, and 5. I think that is 28 times better than your "1 million searches". I know about on site SEO as well as off. Let me know when your primary means of backlinking doesn't entail creating a thread on DP like 10+ of your recent threads created are. Not to mention, it's not always effective most profitable to go after the biggest keywords out there. If you can find profitable keywords that have no competition you have it made and usually don't even need backlinks if you know what you're doing.
Well, I have just checked, and I should say they are all the basics, but I do like the . Not bad, thanks dude!
Am not talking about search results. There are tons of keywords with billions of search results, however they have no searches.
They wouldn't be "search results" if nobody searched for them, or am I mising something BTW - how do you <i> know</i> your term has 1 000 000 searches? Have you discovered the only accurate and foolproof keyword tool in existence?
If you properly read my post, the adwords tool says it's getting 135k searches a month, multiply that by 12 and you have the yearly searches topping a million. I was simply stating it was a competitive niche and I have 3 front page results for it.
thanks for sharing this article. this article is pretty helpful and in doing my on page optimization.
Should have specified. The point is, you won't get that kind of keyword with a bad guide like this. When advertising content on DP you should at least make it good content instead of purely linking to it for a backlink.
