For those that dont know ( as i assume many dont)
Here is the scoup on Pharamcy Checker IDs and Ad Words

To be able to bid on pharamcudical related words, or even include pharamcudicals words in your ad, you must have what is known as a PharmacyChecker ID

This goes for MSN and Yahoo As Well.

Pharamcy Checker is a 3rd party company that "reviews" pharamcies and their affiliates for authenticity, before issuing a Pharamcy Checker ID. This ID needs to be entered in google to be able to use names of drugs (except where prevented by trademarks) or words like drug store, medicine etc.

All in all this is a great idea but from personal experiance

    1) Even if you HAVE a pharamcy checker ID dont expect google to work right when you type it in. Infact dont expect to get any support from google on this topic either.

    2) Pharamcy checker, (i think when they run out of money) will disqualify a pharamcy at a drop of a hat for trivial matters (and they dont care about explenations). This will disqualify all affilates as well (meaning more money for them)

One company got disqualified 2 days after applying and the price tag is not that small to apply (no refund).

Ah! I agree there - They will disqualify a pharamcy at a drop of a hat for trivial matters. Its very frustrating when you need to rely on a Pharmacy checker ID to promote your pharmacy using a PPC campaign.

I myself got disqualified several times and it was then that I tried setting up a PPC campaign without a Pharmacy Checker ID.

I tried for days together and each time either ads got slapped or domain got banned. And around a month later I developed a tweak which helped me running my ads without a Pharmacychecker ID.

Its like Playing Neo in Google's matrix. :D

I personally believe that Google has on purpose left this window for raking in extra cash. I personally did a post about it here: http://digg.com/tech_news/Loopholes_in_Google_AdWords_Policies_That_Make_Fat_Cash

And if you need help with Google PPC campaign for your pharmacy feel free to ping me.

I highly Recommend going to BBB and checking for Accreted online Pharmacies like the affiliate USAdrugclinic in my signature - you need to make sure it's the right move and research for scams and frauds. I was with rxpayouts and my commissions went down the drain with them. Now i am with a reliable company. so research, research, research is my tip for you!
