    It is still effective. The best way is to compile your own list. Buying a list and sending emails to people on that list will be considered spamming and can get you into legal trouble in some countries

    yes. Do not believe in the Email Blasts stuff. Usually they do not work. Resort to some other IM methods.

    Email marketing is still EFFECTIVE, but you need to have HIGHLY targeted niche and audience. If you believe it's enough to get a big mailing lest and send your advertisement, then you are really wrong.

    You need to get the permission from people you want to send email to. Read CANSpam to ensure that you do email marketing legally. So, even on your site, tell them that you will send them emails.

    Check out the service at aweber. They are pretty much the standard for email marketing (www.aweber.com) It is not free, but you can sign up for $1 for the first month. They offer the best service and provide you with ways to implement the opt in form on your website.

    Email marketing works very well. Just make sure to never use a server side script on your own server. Doing so can get your site shut down if too many people complain – even though they’ve opted in to receive information.

    It depends.Don't believe some softwares too much for they can easily make you regarded as spamming.In order to
    be more efficient,you should build your own list and send the emails to your potential customers as possible as you

    I would recommend compiling your own list through squeeze page techniques, newsletters, and any other methods you could harvest an email from a user voluntarily. Set this up in phpList or MailMan or whichever email software you prefer to use and start sending out relevant contributions and you are sure to find ways to monetize a targeted email list. You can sell adspace, or products and services through your mailing lists.

    yes i agree with you dont believe email blasters software,because mostly it promote spamming. Building your own squeeze page collect legal list may give you better result...but first of all you must educate your list before you promoting something...give more information to your subcriber before you sell something

    When I get a customer who buys from me and pays via paypal for example, i add them to my email marketing list. I do mine via vista print. You can track everything through it so I can recommend it.....
    Its reasonabley cheap...

    it can be effective but like said before you should seek real advise before sending mass emails. ive tried it myself and it brought me a few hits. Im sure if you contacted a good company you will get more. you also dont want to get on the wrong side of anyone. just be careful.
