I also think that if someone asked for a refund, Shawn would have every right to give a negative itrader.
why display the username differently at all? vB already has a feature that is enabled here - all username changes are recorded in the profile (click to my profile and you'll see it in Username History tab) and there is also a special page in the forum which displays all these changes - that should be more than enough.
Totally not the case, where does it say that any refunds will result in negative iTrader? In any case, The buyer isn’t entitled to a refund on the grounds of not reading the terms. Thanks Brian
Who cares about the refund? it's a meager $25 anyway. Now having your username crossed for 3 months that is the real problem. And I do 4-5 figures of business every month here. It's not that much compared to other people who buy and sell tons of stuff here though.
For people who don't visit people's profile every time they post. I think you made it clear people don't even read stuff on pages they are on. I'm open to suggestions on what other markup to apply to it for 90 days, but *some* markup will be applied. Technicality, but it's not a vB feature, it's custom. And what page are you referring to that users can see all changes, maybe I missed it?
Maybe overline, or italics, would be preferred? I don't mind the strike-through though, I personally think it looks attractive.
If you want to know before you were to pay to change your username, you could go here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/search.php The user name portion of the search auto-completes for existing users.
WHat do you guys think of the username change being tagged like it is now? digitalpoint (changed) instead of the strike?
