    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

Is there anything like an automated link building system?

    hello,

the reason why I ask this is simple.

I talked to a CEO of one well-established SEO company.
I said to him that the most difficult part of seo is backlink
building. He said, really? Then he told me that he can literally
build 100k backlinks on other peoples sites without even
letting the webmasters know that these exist!

I think he meant that he can build new subpages with links
in them, I guess this is only possible with forums or blogs and
    the like.

Well, fact is he is really successful and he is getting closer
to the really big seo companies. and btw, yes, his website
is ranked quite well for very competitve terms and sorry, I
cannot tell you the name. quite frankly, he didnt tell me
    his secret!

Just want to hear your views and if you ever heard something
    similar to this.

    Regards

    There's hundreds of them.

But all of these spam generators are pure crap. If you want good results, you need good backlinks on quality, relevant sites.

They are growing because everyone is looking for a shortcut, hoping that they can do all of their link building with a single click of an automated spam machine.

Thew reality is that it doesn't work. Sure, you'll get 1000's of backlinks. All of them completely useless.

If they are manually generated, then they're not automated.

You may find some SEO services that manually generate backlinks for you. That would be greatly preferable to any automated system.

I am new to link building. What makes the automated builders garbage? Is it because they dont produce links on relevant sites?

its of course not the same like having links on relevant sites but if this
company is using it, they must know what they are doing, they arent
some noobs which are on the market for some months. they have a
steady stream of growing customers and they even need more working
    staff.

I think, Link building will give you best result if you slowly and steadyily build links from selective websites.Link relavency also has to be considered. I dont think automated tools cares about relavancy of link.

Just because one company is using it, doesn't mean it's good for their clients.

Automated link generating software is garbage because they give you links from non-relevant sites, with little or no traffic, on pages with no PR, in the form of spam comments, form postings, or profile pages.

Now, you might think, "aren't any links good links?" Not really. First of all they're worthless. Second of all, post spam on ONE wrong blog, and you can easily end up in the akismet spam prevention database, keeping you from being able to post a comment on ANY blog that has akismet spam prevention (most wordpress blogs). Thaqt would really suck when you find a really good article on a related blog that is do-follow, and you've got a great comment to add, but can't becuase akismet has marked you as a spammer.

And akismet isn't the only one. Mollom is getting huge as well, and they have the same sort of thing. and this is just the start. As spam protection gets better and better, there will be more and more of this.

It's just not worth it. Why risk being labeled as a spammer over worthless links? If you get labeled as a spammer, you won't be able to get GOOD backlinks.

I am actually starting to do manual link submissions to one way do follow high PR site's.

PM me for details. My service is in beta right now, so I have yet to go live in the BST section.

I can do over 100 submissions for 10 bucks. I can even do thousands for under twenty.

    Again, just PM me.

    Cheers.
