This is really contrary to earlier reports that say online advertising has been dwindling. With more profits, Google may acquire more startup web companies.
Google is taking a larger percentage of Adsense revenue, cracking down on paid links so that they control the online advertising market, and stealing marketshare from other search engines. Not really what I would consider "good news" for the average webmaster.
Hmmm!!! I guess it’s the way you read, I meant its good we seem to be moving out of recession! But not as good as it is for Google! Talk about shooting the messenger
Interesting... I just was browsing and found this... QUOTE Raj Rajaratnam, a portfolio manager for Galleon Group, a hedge fund with up to $7 billion in assets under management, was accused of conspiring with others to use insider information to trade securities in several publicly traded companies, including Google Inc. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Billionaire-among-6-nabbed-in-apf-2808194948.html?x=0 Maybe they are worth more? or maybe less... thx malcolm
