Finally got listed in dmoz, what next?

    Possibly - for regional rankings ccTLD, hosting server IP and language (on site and meta tag) are more important

    if you dont mind me asking, how long did it take you to get into Dmoz, i submitted my site 12 months ago and havent heard anything back from them.

    Hmm lucky that your website get listed. Many people are still waiting to get listed in dmoz. Any idea or tips u share with us to get listed in dmoz ??

    the only tip i would like to share is it submit it in best and deep category and you'll make in to dmoz, that is the only basic mantra

    Congratulations, that's a worthwhile backlink. You can wait to see if an editor will also post it to the appropriate General Category and if not submit it yourself to the gen cat.

    There is no doubt Dmoz help in listing in specially major search engine but I think for local optimization you should prefer to get some links from local classified.

    Well good part is now you will automatically listed in Google directory
    Second thing Many directories take feed from DMOZ so you will auto listed there as well
