How to make $X in Y days

You may also be aware of their related threads:
    - How I made $X in Y days!
    - I have $X, help me invest it
    - How can I make money online?
    - Let me tell you how to make money online!
    - Can I make $X with this website/scheme/spam
    - Need money fast, what to do?!
    - etc etc.

I'm really new to DP, and I have to ask. What's up with all these threads with people asking how to make a certain amount of money in a short time? I could understand one or two, but it seems like there are hundreds of them spread across the business / marketing forum.

Why do some people feel it's necessary to ask this question over and over again? Moreover, why do others keep bumping them with useless replies?

I guess I just find it a bit sad that so many people are trying to work at it from that perspective.

Its all those get rich quick schemes running the gauntlet of the forums. I dont think anybody is falling for them. Such a huge incoming stream of advertising and blatant advertising messages does nothing to serve the purpose of the spammers.

People do it get a few new ideas or to share their own. I don't find anything anything wrong with it.

Many experienced people and online marketers and earners staying at somecorner of this world might have just joined DP. They might have some new idea this world of DPers has not seen.

So, even after 1year there will be people here in DP asking the same question, expection some rare, genuine and working solution to it from that very rare person.

There are many people who earn x amount of money in y days and still do not know what DP is and what people do here.

    Got my point?

And what do you think is a useful reply? Is there such a judgement?Discussing in
a forum is so normal. When some newbie come here, they may not have time or
intention to read all the threads here. They even don't know some guys have
already mentioned such topic. What I want to say is,they have right to post
such thread, maybe they are serious and just a little confused.Of course, you
have the right to answer it or overlook it.

Based on my experience, they ask this question because they want to learn new money making idea from other people. They ask it over and over again coz the money making method is getting evolve everyday which mean the method that work yesterday doesn't mean it will work today.

Its desparation and they dont know how to use the search function for the forum to bother to research for themselves - everyone wants all answers spoon fed to them.

They seem to forget many other people before them have already asked this question and the answers from previous type threads will be relevant. Its one of my real hates when people do that but they do it also in other webmaster forums i visit too :(

So many duplicated and useless posts decrease the quality of info at the forum especially for longer time members who visit often - its very repetitive........

    Two reasons:

    A. Those that don't want to think for themselves, and would rather have there hand held through every aspect of making an online business will never die out.

    B. Those that want to appear like they know what they are talking about, so they post regurgitated posts to obvious newbies will never die out.

Don't expect the cycle to break any time soon.
