I find it to be horribly annoying, and I wish they'd just go back to leaving the static links up there...
Yes google is testing fading effect. Just to have idea on, people press CTRL+T(New window) Type google.com and press enter they type their query and press enter. Once when they get the results, they ll move the mouse. (I use to do that, don't know how many do the same)
I do that most of the time lol but I'll usually move my mouse to the text box first :/ Google is still doing this on my computer, but i've kinda gotten used to it. No biggie lol
I just took a screen cast of it happening on my browser (Chrome - Windows 7) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZsgIdbdeNE I kinda like it. Cheers James
I'm just posting to say to all of you that are like "You must have a virus" or "It's your computer" or "It's a browser issue" FFS. You are so stupid. I would have thought if you were posting here you may actually have some idea about things. OBVIOUSLY a "browser issue" doesn't just cause certain page elements to fade in. It's programmed into the page BY GOOGLE. Don't be a #*#kin moron. It's NOT a virus, it's NOT a browser issue, and it IS Google.
LOL! Thank you for contributing a valuable opinion as your first post I wasn't being sarcastic, either.
