It depends on the niche you based your site on. You need to do some research on Google Keyword Tools and check the Avg CPC of the keywords you want to target to achieve high CPC rate. But, Max CPC is just an indicator and doesn't mean that you will get whole of the amount mentioned in the Keyword tool.
Most likely not, why do you need so much per click? Just get more traffic and make up for the lower amount you get per click...

High paying keywords. Anyway, you won't get 5$ for all clicks. If the keyword is worth 5$, count on .50-3$.
Expecting 5 dollar for a click is too much dude. You can find a lot of high paying keywords in the web. Just search in google. Try to increase the number of clicks for your website. You can optimize your website for high paying keywords later.

What I think is you only get $5 per click is when someone does not understand about Goolgle quality score and he pays $10 per click because he didn't checked is account. I think no one wants to pay $10 per click whatever the product is, I think that if they pay $10 per click than he should do offline marketing than online marketing..lol. I hope you understand my opinion.
