Moving forum help?

    Hey guys as you can see from the juicing forum in the sig its my main page.

    i want to move it to /forum so its not the index page anymore, is this easily do-able now its installed and running.

    You'll need to change the URL path in your settings or config file (not sure where it is in SMF)

    then simply move all the files to a newly created /forum directory

    ahh brilliant doesnt sound too hard then.

    just wish i could make a back up first incase i screw the moving up, as i didnt install it.

    go to your website control panel, find the Backup link and do a home backup and also backup that smf database.

    ftp into your site and make a folder named forum or forums, whatever.

    move all the files and folders into that new folder. get repair_settings.php from SMF, upload it to the new forum folder and call it up in a browser, click all the values and save it.
