Social Bookmarking is gives fast traffic for you website. but some search engines takes like spam. don't over submission. Article Submissions is great. but our content is very strong. otherwise they will not approve your content. so use all types. but don't spam. then you will get more backlinks and traffic. Out of these social bookmarking method can bring traffic fast but if your topics will not be addictive or relevant to the visiting community, you will get high bounce rate.
all are good way but u forget forum posting to list.. its most effective according to me. Directory submission is not so good and not passing much link juice some are not even passing link..bcz the submitted links going to the very inner page and this page some time not indexing by Google
