So recently i checked my webmaster tools account and saw i had 105 backlinks i was pretty happy. Then i checked how most them came from Reddit. Then i saw and it came from the comments on Reddit! I was so excited because i had 15 comments on some my post. Everytime some one says

"F#&# you" or "I hate this stupid post" i say thank you for the free backlink come again!

It only takes 1 minute a day i post my articles get 5-10 backlinks from reddit from comments the post itself and linkbait. So next time some one says somthing messed up just think hey i just got a freebacklinks! anyways tell me what you think.

You know there was this way a few years back when digg was do-follow. People went to older diggs which were popular. Most of them were like PR5-PR6. The commented on those to gain backlinks. AFter some time it was noticeable to the digg guyz, hence they made it no-follow.

If this technique is carried in the left over do-follow SB sites, everything is going to turn no-follow. I don't really recommend people doing this.

It all sounds great...but remember.......1 backlinks from Redditt is the same in google's mind as 1k backlinks from the same place. It is about variety and not quantity.

    And Reddit Rules!

Yeah this is how i thought it works, else google is missing a big loophole.

Also, if this was the case, and then google changed its rules, would you suddenly lose a bundle of backlinks as they are from the same site, and then your ranking could suffer pretty bad ?
