Yo-yo dislikes all religions equally, and I support peoples rights to believe in what thay want. It's hypocrites that claim to be religious that preach hatred like religious zealots, bigots and terrorists that we both can't stand

You mean Texabia? I visited Texas (back before it became Texabia ;) ) when I was younger.. probably about 7-8 years ago. It was a real dump until we got to the coast (where my grandpa lived). South Padre Island was nice but if i remember right still had oil or some kind of junk along the beach. When we went to Corpus Christi it was like heaven on earth. We were there in December and it was 75 degrees during the night with a cool ocean breeze.

Not a bad place if it didn't get all those nasty storms.

Oh yes, he hates them all equally. I see it in his posts, don't you? :D

Poor wittle Matt. He tries so hard to defend terrorists while hiding behind his true beliefs, but that naughty ol' GTech keeps getting in the way of his "multiculturalism" :D

    awww!

So back around 2000? You didn't happen to notice anyone driving into a home depot, did you?

Of course, and so is being progressive.

If you're not ass-backwards or living like its the 1960's you're a dirty liberal. ;)

I'm pretty sure your definition of multiculturalism would defend slave owners ;)

the biggest killer? Hmmm....I quess that the world's largest contributor to foreign aid and humanitarian assistance should just stop helping? Sure. It will give more resources to fix our own problems. Next someone comes begging for help we can just ignore them because we don't want to ruffle feathers and get them killed. Starving country? Bleh...get their own country to fix them problem.

I am so sick and tired of hearing the US get bashed because of some stupid policy some crack head in Washington came up with. Like someone said earlier, we may have had more wars in one century than other countries, but in the short 200+ years this country has been around, we must have been doing something right to become the world's sole superpower. And everyone else doesn't like it. We help them out when they ask and then they turn around and bites our hand. They say we are the biggest killers, whatever, look to your own countries dark history and realize that you have been killing alot more for alot longer than we have. No country is perfect. Quite trying to feel better about yourselves by trying to bash another country.

The US has been, without a doubt (its in the numbers) the largest contributor to other nations in need. And the wars? Let's quickly go over them:

WW1 - We were asked to help. Some of our boys actually joined the UK before we officially got involved.

WWII - We weren't offically involved until we were attacked. Of course conspiracy theorists think we meant to use the attack as an excuse. Maybe, maybe not. But never the less, we didn't get officially involed until the attack.

Korea - Political war. Stop the commies by helping another democratic country. We were asked to help.

Vietnam - Same thing. And another stalemate. It wouldn't have been if it wasn't fought mainly in Washington.

    Grenada - Hostage rescue campaign.

Panama - Political. I would agree that it was solely out fault. No good reason for it.

Gulf War - As part of a multi-national effort to repel an invading country from another country. Of course, I think it more about Kuwait's resources, so this one was political again.

Afghanistan - I really can't think about a good justification for this one. Yeah it's good we got a horrible regime out of control of the country, but what about all the others? Political....needed a scapegoat I quess.

Iraq - Well....here's a sticky one. Same as above. More political than anything. But you know what, I fought in Iraq. And you would be suprised how many Iraqis were happy as hell that we got Sadam out of there. Were the American people lied to about why we went over there? Probably. But another country has recieved the ultimate gift.....choice. Like Afghanistan.

Say what you will about the US, but you can't deny that over it's 200+ years of existence, and aside from the horrors the country has done (I'm American and I recognize we aren't the perfect country, but we aren't alone in that one...Europe) we have contributed more to the peace and well being than any other country. Hell.....we pretty much are the UN (which in my opinon is just about a worthless as the League of Nations was).

So think really hard before you just try to justify the world's problems as being only the US's fault. It's everyone's fault. And that's life. Deal.
