Put a bumpersticker on your car with your website address on it. Try it and let me know how well it works. If it works great than maybe I will do it.

lol, yeah let me know about that bumpersticker idea too... I've always wondered how much traffic they really draw in.

IMO, Word of Mouth & Search Engines are the best for traffic.

Forget it. It's been tried and tried and tried to death. The main point is they are all automated and all you see is traffic in your stats. Does not improve PR or income in any way, shape or form. I suggest you start writing articles with embedded links and getting them published and for Henry's sake start building links.

    Hope it works for you!

Build links, build good quality content, comment on similar blogs, submit to directories
These are some of what you should do.If you buy traffic it is bound to be temporary and you will not get fixed, regular readers

    I done it all.
I have about 80k backlinks and I've submitted to all directories I know.
I have a minimal traffic, about 30 visits per day.
About 50% of them coming from search engine so it's netural traffic but not enough.

80k as 80,000 backlinks? You should have some traffic just from those links!
I would suggest to write more content every day...

The most accurate way to find out how many back links you have is by goign to Yahoo and putting linkdomain:www.yoursite.com

My question would be what keywords are you using when you submit to directories and do link exchanges? If you are only using your website name for the anchor text, you won't get very far in the serps unless you have a keyword in your domain.

And of course i'm not using my website name in the text in directories.
My 2 top keywords is in my domain.

193 backlinks sounds more like it. From my experience, it's easier to rank well in Yahoo than in Google. If you are ranking well in Google, you usually rank well in Yahoo. Google doesn't show all your back links that's why most people check their back links in Yahoo.

    How old is your site?

It takes lots of time to get anywhere in search engines. MSN is the fastest to get up in the serps, but I'm only concerned about Google and Yahoo. I have a product site that took at least a year for it to get any traffic/revenue. Now after 2 years it's banging out traffic/revenue.

The fastest free way to get traffic is by marketing your site in blogs and forums (no spamming) or your own blog. The fastest way to get traffic, but that costs is by PPC, banner ads or text links on sites where your potential customers hang out.

Organic SEO just takes time. And like others have said, you need to keep building quality links.
