Are successful people still posting on DigitalPoint?

Or have they moved on to more important things after they discovered their path to riches?

It probably depends on how to define success. Are there people that come here frequently that still make a good chunk of change, absolutely. Now, millionaires, I kind of doubt it. At least on a regular basis and answer questions anyway.

I think there are some pretty wealthy people that visit the Buy, Sell, Trade section because they can get work done at a cheap rate. I saw Shoemoney (probably one of the more wealthy internet marketers) recommend this place in his Shoemoney Tools content for writing work, directory submission, etc. So if you want to find some wealthy people here, you would probably find them there rather than in this section.

I agree with Gator. I dont think you will find them in this section, however to be successful in this market, you need to adjust your strategy to match today's trend, and this is great place to pick up on new strategies, new trends, etc...

I doubt they are giving out information, everyone here only talks about "how can I make money?" or spamming their POS web sites yet they know nothing about starting an actual business. I'm no millionaire and I'm already getting sick of reading the same things over and over again. How many times has the thread "how do I get traffic to my blog?" come up? Look at the threads below:

Daily Journal: Goal - $100/day NET w/ Bum Marketing & Social Networks
    $100 a day autopilot
    The $2500 3 Day Challenge
Can you really make $10,000/month with Article Writing?

So many people talk only about money. (eg. How can I make $2000 month?)

#1 rule to business is to focus on your business and NOT money.
Money comes automatically from a well designed business.

yeah was waiting for someone to say something smart and mildly amusing like that

I think dp has a big cross section of people who have achieved every level of financial success - how ever that may be defined as its different for everyone. Biggest % of member would be in the newb/ not yet making much online probably.

But i know myself there are many who do really well with income online and have been around dp for a long time yet still keep coming back to post as they have formed a bond with the site, the people, friends and there is always opportunites to make more money. So its not just about money its also about learning, sharing and interaction.

Some members may also have months away from DP depending on their offline requirements and lifestyle but come back again when it changes

Or, better said, focus on your customers' needs, wants, motivations, worries, expectations, questions, problems, etc.

    Awe lets be nice dlm

That was a pretty funny thread thou. If someone could make 2500 from doing simple stuff like he suggested everyone would be doing it.

Why did he get banned anyway?

I do pretty well and consider myself successful. I just happen to be browsing the forum because I can't sleep and don't feel like working.

I do check the forums sometimes to see if I can help others and to see whats going on in the affiliate world at DP.

But I hate seeing all this "$100/day" crap threads. DP should create a new forum category and call it "Crap" and move all those topics there.

Definitely depends on the person. I know that if I started making a lot of money from my sites I'd still try to find time to come and post here, just to keep up with the community.

Shoemoney does recommend this forum, but as you can see, he doesn't post anymore. Sad too... He is still really helpful, but he posts all the good stuff on his own blog nowadays. Probably a good business decision for him.

Inspiring posts in here, maybe many very successful people just lurk or keep anonymous about identity.
