My site ranks no 1 at Google and Yahoo but its no where to be seen at Bing. Any tips from Bing experts? Thanks a bunch
I see three different sites when I click on those links. Bing is a forbes article. Google is kevinmd.com. Yahoo is medicalblog.net followed by the forbes article and the kevinmd site. Might be helpful if you clue us in at what we're supposed to be looking at. I will note though that the kevinmd.com site is listed as both with and without the 'www' in there. Maybe splitting the flow/ juice/ whatever term you use but allowing for both instead of forcing one or the other.
Go to http://www.bing.com/webmaster and submit your site. I'm sure your site will be in page 1 in no time.
@Bing Webmaster I cannot submit my site... "We are experiencing an issue processing your request at this time. The Webmaster Center Team has been notified of the error and will work to resolve it. Try again in a few minutes." This message was yesterday too. What's the matter?
Bing has stopped accepting new sites for the time being.. also Sidekick users have lost their data. http://blogs.zdnet.com/hardware/?p=5820 Eric
Of course they have .. If my index was full of trash spam sites, and websites from 6 years ago that aren't even online anymore, chances are good that I wouldn't be accepting anything new either ..
Well my site is already listed in Bing. Just not ranked high for the keyword at all. Thanks though for the suggestions. Rep+
If your site were not indexed in Bing, the first thing you would do is submit to Bing webmaster central, and submit your sitemap so Bing can index your site. Its a way of helping the search engine make clearer decisions about the content about your website. (Its supposed to be doing this on its own anyways)
Hi Roobertx, you are not the only person experiencing the same problem.. Bing I think was still working on their database and so on for the improvement of their browser.. And wptheme it was good for you that your site is both ranking in Google and Yahoo. Honestly it was easy to rank and generate traffic from Bing than the other two SEs, so don't worry your site will surely appears on Bing. Patience is a virtue
Beats me .. But what I see when I open Bing, is the same old Live Search, with a nice new Bing paint job. Nothing has really changed over there .. it still has all of the old listed porno redirected sites, and sites listed that have been gone for years. One would think that cleaning up the old database might have been the order of the day, especially since Bing is bragging about all of the "new" things it has.
Take a look at the bing webmaster forums. A lot of people are having the same problems. I got one of my sites listed, but my yahoo store site has been waiting for almost 6 months. I think that it is a reflection of all the errors related to the yahoo store html. I think we are going to abandon this site and concentrate on the xcart store which seems to do better in the search engines.
It is really pity. But unfortunately my site also not get placed on bing. Me too expecting the same tips.
