Google traffiv dropped from 35K to 1K.. Is it normal?

Normally traffic from google is around 35K dailly from google for one of my sites. But today I see that traffic is around 1K from google searches. I checked everything, index is fine, site info is there, no sandbox, everything fine in webmaster tools. One more thing I noticed that google bot is not coming.

I changed nothing on the site for about 3 months. Do you guys have problems like this? What can be the problem?

 

What is the site? Is it a WP blog? Make sure you dont have a robots nofollow. I have a few WP sites that some how changed on there own.

How on earth do you get 35,000 daily visitors? If I had that many Id make around $315,000 per day.

Must be your site got a plenty and check your PaGeRank is it normal ? may be cause of Duplicate Content or some other factors.

 

No change on pagerank. I don't know why but bots still not coming.

 

Thats alot of traffic 35,000 daily ...

I would be concerned also as that seems to be a dramatic drop but last few days google
been acting strange so it might be a glitch and certainly hope so for your sites sake...

Actually I made a mistake, with 35,000 unique visitors a day Id make close to 1 million dollars daily.

Mind you they'd all have to be targeted visitors to make that much, not junk traffic lol

 

it's not junk traffic. targetted organic traffic coming from google search

You have 2 sites hosted on that server as you (may) know.
The second site is re-directed to the video site, the second site being mj related may have an adverse affect.

On another note.
Do you host all of your videos on that site? The bandwidth must be massive.
I may also be interested in buying it if you send me traffic/bandwidth details.

35K its a lot of money everyday, that is traffic!

 

What's your routine on getting backlinks and building links for your site? If things work before then suddenly that happens, it might be triggered not on your site but on algorithm update/testing. That might be a big loss with those 34k traffic, maybe just continue what you think the strong strategies that help your site and hope this update or something might turn upside down soon, make sure your site will be indexed through new and strong backlinks.

 

When you say 35K daily, is it pageviews or visitors. If it's visitors then congrats you are definitely doing something right.

 

Recently ,my website which kept an average of 3,000 visitors got kicked from google SERP. It lasted 2-3 weeks but today it back to normal. I am confident your traffic will come back in under 1 month. If you did anything against google's TOS, try to undo them. Keep building some links to your site also.

35k to 1k is definitely not normal. I would do an immediate analysis of what keywords were driving the most traffic and make sure the ranking on those keywords were not affected. I also think it's a good idea to check the history of your keyword rankings in webmaster tools and see if something is amiss.
