Review My Website -- Best way to monetize it?

Please check out the link above and let me know what you think of my blog. Obviously the goal is to make money on adsense and other ads but I don't want to overdo it.

The site is about sports betting and sometimes stocks.

Any suggestions?

 

It looks nice but all in black so it hides your work..so try to upgarade your work..

anything else that i should look into changing aside from the black background?

 

is the ad placement too much considering i have a banner ad also (unrelated to the google ads)?

 

I recommend placing images in your posts, because scrolling all the way down your homepage and no image it's less attractive than compared to, for example: http://www.nflgridirongab.com/

If i were you,
I would remove the blogger toolbar and favicon(people don't like free hosted sites)
Improve color quality of the site(never make a content site with black background).

 

It is very dark and only the header image is attractive.Need to work in quality of the site to impress visitors.

 

It is too dark.

 

I am limited due to the blogger settings. I am definitely considering buying a domain, but at the moment am trying to make the most of what I can do.

I am looking into possible different color schemes.
