I saw lots of peoples having more than 1 site promoting the same product to make more money

    what is the best idea,,

    1. Promoting single site with good no. of articles and good SEO

    or

    2. Having more than 1 site......

But upto me having single site and updating the site with large number of articles is best. Because it will increase the search engine ranking ,,,,,,, so sales will increase,,,,

    Combine them!

Promote 1 site with lots of articles, maximize for SEO, use the other sites to help promote your main site

I say multi just so you can test different keywords, campaigns and landing pages.

I would start with ONE definetly...the guys out there with multi sites might have been doing it for a while...promote that ONE site with another domain name if you want. If you're new to marketing a product or whatever its always best not to get carried away with too many sites. Wait until you start seeing results. Write ezine articles as many as you like, that will work just fine. Remember less is more and cost effective to start with!

I think IM is a number games...more site you have more money you'll get. I don't think build single site with a lot of articles and good SEO will give you much money. There are always more profitable niches to explore and better affiliate products to promote.

My suggestion is just build about 5-10 sites with different niche, add some articles, and do a little promotion, track all of them and see which one is more profitable and have better SERP, and then develop the most profitable website with better SEO and articles...cmiiw

Multi site for sure and you don't have to spend a lot of money. You can use multi-site to test different offers or test variations for the same offer. Either way, testing or spreading your risk is a good way to go and will increase your chance of finding a profitable niche

I wont advise to have just one site, but at the same time you should never really have sites with just 1-2 pages. Ideally I create sites with 50-100 articles, promote them and move on. Typically in a month I can come out with 3-4 these type of sites.

I would suggest targeting multiple keywords with the same website

I use multiple sites that I network together but often think that sometimes one site would be better

+1 to multisites. each landing page\site design should respond to keyword\group of similar keywords.

Due to semi-random nature of SEs, it's always best to have multi. The more you are out there - the more you have a RANDOM chance of popping up even with completely irrelevant keywords but those are still some chance of making a sale. And also count that there are lots of typos in searches ppl make and many many other factors that can push your sites to randomly pop up.

also ... look at this scheme (basic example)
option 1.) you spend 1 year promoting 1 site and get to the 1-st place for your keyword
option 2.) you spend 1 year promoting 2 sites and get to 4 and 5 places for your keyword

assuming the probability for a visitor to click on your link from a SE is roughly 1/10 (10 results per page), you'll get 1/10 with the first option and 2/10 with the second option

adjusting the click rate with the position, let's bring the 1/10 for first option up to about 1/7. It is still less than the 2/10 (1/5) for the second option.

    Result: Option 2 is better

Some may argue that i'm wrong about 1/7 adjustment, but leave it alone and expand this example to say 20 sites and take in account that there's ONLY 1 first-place in SE results. The more sites you have - the more % chance of click you get in the second option and it will eventually become greater than the chance with 1 site (regardless of it being 1/7 or even 1/2)

And i still didn't count the hundreds of other factors such as making your competition invisible (covering them with the army of your sites), pioneering in the style of market (ppl get so used to the logic of shopping from your sites - they start to dislike any other site that has some other logic in navigation or order compleation), etc etc

And finally, there always comes a point of time when you don't know what the hell else you can do to "optimize" your site .. it has shitload of links and is optimized for your keywords in every possible way you've come up with .. and you're stuck with your site bringing same amount of traffic month after month .. With the option 2, as opposed, you always have the opportunity to setup and promote the next domain, and the next, and the next ....

One site is better because you only have to worry about link building for the one site.
