Whats the Story with the caching, every day (morning) when I can I login, and possible post a thread, today I was lucky, I missed the daily caching, so my thread was posted top for 4 hours until 2.30pm GMT +1, whats the deal with that. Q, why is this even needed.
Yeah Shawn, I have noticed this before, threads don't seem to move for hours in the morning for me. I'm in Dublin GMT +1, If I visit the forums in the morning around 9-9:30am, sometimes for hours the forum threads don't update. Today for instantaneous, my thread stood top of the list, nothing to do with how threads are viewed, but it was there for 4-5 hours, until late afternoon (1-2:30pm). PS: I know my thread above wasn't posted before, 9-9:30am but its happened before, between the earlier hours, after 8am, theres very little updated threads or new threads, sometimes you might you get a reply, which can be read, but visiting the forum section, it doesn't show the replies, only through URL specific.
Hmm maybe its my Internet provider, ( ISP ) I'll take note, and post a more precise details at a later stage. However, please do note the times of posts above mine. Every one of them are 5+hours after mine ?
Your thread was created at 2:30 am local time here in the US, so my guess is that the lack of subsequent threads immediately following your thread had more to do with the time you posted than anything. Either way, we don't cache any web pages within the forum, I promise.
