    has anyone used IBP?

It seems like a cool "take you by the hand" way to get your site in top 10 rankings.

I read the reviews but they are all affiliates so who knows if it is true or not?

I downloaded the free demo and used it a bit however you can not do much but still seems easy to use....just wonder if it really works?

I am personally not a huge fan of SEO software, I think the best way to optimize a website for free search engine traffic is by hand.

I would be cautious of purchasing software like this, sometimes they make it seem easier than it really is.

In my option; you may be better offer spending money to learn more about SEO quick, or just taking the time to read and learn SEO for free.

It is not "easy" so to speak. you still have to do all the link buidling by hand and optimize your page but they give you a checklist and day to day to do list to follow. after each is done you check it off and once you get to 100% you should start seeing results. from the looks of it i am guessing it would take a good month to do what they want you to do.

They give your site a SEO score and require 95%. Mine was at 84% but would not tell me what to modify as that was just the free version. My new site was 45%...yikes!

It's ok...all it does is analyze the top 10 sites for the keyword and gives you advice based on the stats taken from them.

OK - I'm using it. It can orginize lot's of of your SEO work. it's pretty efficient and it suits SEO managers that handles more than a few projects all together. it's (I believe) 250$ a year for 5 projects and 500$ more for an unlimited number of projects. you can check rankings world-wide on differnet SE, you can run directory submissions, orginize links-exchange deals and create SEO reports that will tell you how good are your pages for a certain KW.

It will not bring you ijnto the first page of Google, as the ad sais - you will do it yourself. It can give you some very nice analysis, though not as complete as one would want. Do I recommend it? that depends on your needs. I enjoy working with it, but I dont know wether there are not better softwares out there.

If you are serious about SEO this software will quickly become useless, but a good beginners tool if you are not willing to invest the time and do not mind spending $250.

IBP reporting is useful for SEO professionals, I think for an individual you will get limited benefit from it.

SEO tools have their place, and serious SEO is not one of those places. They give very different advice, and none that I have ever come across is a substitute for real SEO knowledge. A tool has very defined limits!

OK, use them if you are beginning in SEO or don't have the time to spend to do the job properly, but whatever happens, never use one that says it will submit you to search engines. This is a sure-fire way to get yourself booted off search engines - Google for one is very good at spotting such tools, so be cautious.

We use its ranking tool. It's kind of nice to keep all of the keywords for all of our projects in it and run the reports monthly. It keeps the history, so it's easy to pull a report showing how our rankings are doing as compared to six months ago when we started with a client. As you get a handle on the main keywords, you can add more keywords over time.

Our answers are going to be very conditional and subjective.

I've used it for quite awhile and although it's not necessary IBP is a good piece of software. I'd like to highlight that it's ranking reports feature is exceptional and that's really the main feature that I use.

I have personally not used anything in IBP that I couldn't do by hand to achieve the top rankings of sites I either own or manage over the years so if you have money to spring for a handy side tool then I'd say its worth it, but it's not substitute for true SEO knowledge.
