I just wanted to say how much I appreciate how neutral this place really is. Just made an experience on another forum where a Super Mod uses his position to vent his hatred virtually unchallenged.

It's very unique how we can discuss things in here. I'm sure this whole section is on Shawn's "sh*tlist", but nevertheless ... I don't see better and more open discussions anywhere else.

 

Yeah, but guess what: the opinions here are 50/50. No one site dominates and gets preferential treatment by the ownership and leadership of this forum. That's something you don't see a lot. Both you and Rob may have some wacky opinions, but you don't let that clutter your judgement when you moderate

What I like about here is the debates on politics are held within the politics secton and outside its business as usual.

I think most of us "old timers" here enjoy the conversations, despite how nasty they can get. I don't take things personally, you need thick skin down here. There is such a wide variety of topics and even more positions individuals take down here in the dungeon. Makes for some good friendly feuds

 

We got also lots of masked jihadists here.
They come and ....go ... pretending what? ... they believe in Jesus too ... and finally explode with hate outbrakes ... they can't hold it back ...

You need to study their tactics to understand, then you get the answer why Pizza bakers, security guards etc. ... become terrorists so easy.

Beware their subtle brain-massage they try to give you.

 

I'm too disgusted to even click on it, so: there is a link thru the long link in my sig. You will see a Super Mod who after 9 months of bashing Israel almost daily, finally made a comment that Hezbollah was the solution to the problems in the Middle East. he praises the ones responsible for the deaths of both Arabic and jewish kids. He makes excuses for them. After I have replied, he attacked me on a personal level.

Another member on that forum is a Lebanese lady living in the US. She almost begged him to stop, mentioning what Hezbollah has done to her family and that Israeli soldiers actually do help the people in Lebanon.

I have PMed the owner finally to erase a part of one of my posts, because it was revealing some personal info due to a personal attack.

I haven't been there since and won't be. I just find it utterly disgusting that someone would tolerate a Nazi, or rather hater of human lives, to act as a Super Mod and get away with something like that.

Re-reading some of his old posts in light of what he has admitted to, exposes it as Hitler type preaching. I know that there are many that I've disagreed with here, but things are balanced on DP. When others are virtually bombarded and held hostage by someone else's hatred, that is a bad thing, no matter what side of the fence you are on.

I remember when ly2 made a comment, not a good one, but it was only words. Something about alleging intimate relations of some Muslim members with Camels. I was actually going to respond. Before I had a chance to, I refreshed and saw a post by "new" who said we all deserved to be blown into pieces for that.
For some reason, the comment of the one guy who gets singled out as a racist, no longer sounds that bad, huh?
