a lot of people think that america is on the decline and that a european union nation will dominate the world. If you look at commodities and resources other than oil the u.s. is strong in this global economy and its presence could be stronger but it seems like a european union or china could become the dominant power in the world. Turkey is a strong country and could become a bigger influence in a european union

Trying to make a serious post so I will keep turkey outside of the discussion....

What do you mean by "strong" in commodities and resources? my education in economy is not that big but from what I know, the U.S. is like a family that earns 100$/month but spends 200$/month --> causing the greatest deficit in the history of mankind. The Americans are printing worthless dollars around the clock, the chinese are earning those dollar.

There is a hebrew saying that when loosely translated says something like: "prophecy was given to the fools", but despite that I will try to make my own prophecy. And in my own prophecy unfortunately for the US I see this in 10 years time:
    1) The american economy will collapse. the U.S. dollar worth 0.5 Euro and less. This latest crisis was an american crisis first and then a world crisis (The Israeli stock exchange has already recovered in full). Before the crisis real-estate in Israel was price in USD, not we price it in NIS. That's not a good sign for the USD....
    2) no more ability to fund oversees military campaigns --> withdrawal from the middle east.
    3) sky rocketing unemployment and inflation that will shake the american political scene, something that america has never known before (not even in the big depression of 1929).

but I stress that prophecy was given to the fools, I and pretty much hope that this will not happen to our best friend in the world :)

Commodities and resources are the backbone of america. Recessions may come and go but commodities and resources are needed factors.

I am on vacation, well sort of (at my in laws), so I have plenty of free time to give everyone my full two cents! I was going to have turkey for lunch, I changed my mind last minute and had a Boar's Head dry salami sandwich. It was delicious. I did end up having the turkey for dinner though.

You don't seem to get it. I don't like when people tell me what I can and can't post here. It is not up to you to decide what is a relevant post. I don't care if you like my posts or not. This is not your forum. I will post whatever and wherever I feel like posting.

Here is this on topic enough for you:

Is Turkey planning another genocide of Armenians?

I think the next 100 years for Turkey should be , to make strong ties with other Muslims and Turks around the World. And stand against those who is depressing. Kinda did it against israel. I hope it will not be only speach. Will show us and the rest of the world , its power and nationalism

One more note, Turkey has to think about becoming nuclear power too

Of course it is. I think Israel is behind it.

You don't need to pretend history did not happen just because it involves Muslims doing bad things and reflects poorly on Islam. The world knows what happened Ziya, even if you want to lie to yourself about world history. It is sad to me that you have been taught such a biased and misrepresentation of history. And worse yet, you believe it or want to believe it so much, that you are willing to perpetrate the lie.

p.s. Ziya, you really need to edit or add to your post. You should not be making back to back posts when you can still edit the first post. It is post-padding.
