Adsense Revenue dropping

    My adsense earning dropped from $2500 per month to $100 per month since 15th August 2009. Is there any reason that you think is the cause?

    May be because of increase in relevant websites who uses adSense.

    From 2.5k to .1k ---> Huge drop :(

    Adsense reveue can fluctuate due to extrnal influences you cannot control.
    Over the years I have had great months as well as weaker months.
    Its just part of being a webmaster.
    Just continue to be positive and keep driving quality traffic to your sites .

    First you should say if the drop is in the pageviews (less traffic), CTR (less people clicking), CPC (less advertisers bidding price)

    With a drop that HUGE, I'd check my traffic. Maybe you lost a lot of traffic. Google did implement a new update recently. The update was called Caffeine and was implemented around mid-August. That could do it.

    Everything being the same still I can observe the revenue dropping dramatically. Something is wrong I guess.

    Adsense is completely unreliable. The earning fluctuates a lot.

    i am 100% sure there is a typo in the opening thread..

    It is not possible to go from $2500 to $100... unless if the site is down for loooonggg time.. or adsense not running..

    Yes from past few months AdSense earnings are dropped but they between 10 – 30%. If you have written right then from $2500 to $100 is very big difference.

    Yeah its decreasing a great deal my earning also dropped 50%. Don't know whts happening.

    However if it is 250 -> 100, then the sample is really too little to make an analysis.

    Work on your traffic, and things will get better.
