    I focus on the title tag, Headers, sub-headers. Try to put the kws towards the beginning of the first couple of paragraphs.

    btw...Dan - that was a great link about writing for spiders. I went ahead and BM'd it.

    Use the main keywords in your header, if possible in the tittle. That is important for google.
