Got PR6 but don't know how I reached it

    Hi :)
    yesterday I was playing around with some PR check of my sites and decided to look at one that I don't market or use so much (right now is pointing to a suspended twitter account... :( ) and dicovered that it have a pr6 :eek:
    I've other sites that I market more that have a pr3, but I don't know how I reached that pr6; any idea on how discover it?

    Anyway I tryied some other online tools (I don't use toolbars) and it alweays return 6
    Figuring how I did it I'd like to replicate on all of my sites (and guess most of you too ;) )

    Unless there is a definable purpose in increasing the rate and or frequency with which google is crawling a clients site, I pay pretty much zero attention to the pr as it really means nothing.

    I have however seen several reports lately of peoples site pr being all over the place. I would not worry about it but you be certain that it is not accurate for the time being.

    Well, but there's a way to discover why is it so high?
    That can be a very useful information to use on my other sites 'cause that is my personal homepage and was pointing only to my (now suspended) twitter account.

    I've had a few PR5 sites before, but never anything above. I'd always thought anything above had to be manually given by Google.

    How did you get the PR0?
    I've tryied with some online checking tools like pageranktm.com and websiteoutlook.com and they both are still returning a PR6 there're some other online services that I can check? (without installing toolbars etc.)
