What is the best time of day to post a blog?

Can you please tell me when the best time to post a blog is (in GMT), I use wordpress, and pingoat. I am trying to figure when I can get the most viewers to my blog. I am based in California, tend to work late at night. Most of viewers are from the US and Canada, should I wait until AM CA time or should I post at night so the east coast crowd can read it in the morning.

I don't mind the time I just need to work effectively.

Tough question. I dont think it make much of a difference though. You may want to check your website stats and try to figure out when a repeating visitors returns. - If you can post something new before they return, they will be pleased to have something new to read.

 

If you are posting news you want your users to read every day, I would say at night, since most will check them in the morning (the highest internet usage is from 8 to 10, yes people are using the internet instead of working!).

That's what a newspaper does, printing at night and delivering first thing in the morning.
The only real difference would be that you have the option to create content as soon as it's avaiable (a news flash, for example)

 

Not sure too, but we have had good results posting at around 5-00pm LA time and also from 9-00am NY time

Our best days have been Tuesday and Thursday for business related subjects and for travel interests

 

Between 8:00 and 12:00 is when I target to publish my posts. Having recent posts ready for readers in the morning is a good idea.

 

But, think about the customers who return value..They would be ones who read it at leisure in the evening..People who read blogs in the offices might not convert..Strictly, my personal opinion, still think it can be true..I think its quite difficult to make a judgement on this..One thing, keep experimenting and if you find something interesting, make us known as well..
