Can a small 6 page's site bring a passive income, say 100 bucks?

Definitely - as every one of the posts on this thread testify.

One thing, though - set your sights higher. Get in the mindset of aiming for a heck of alot more than $100 / site.

Get the right content and the right keywords, drive traffic (which doesn't have to cost much) and rank as high as you can in Google and $100 will be achieved with very little effort or expense.

Aim higher. If you go to the trouble of getting a site online, you really want it to be doing more than this.

    Good luck.

    Steve.

Yeah I totally agree with this, even when starting out you should have an end goal that is higher than $100 a site. $100 could be your goal for the first month or two but keep upping this until you think you have reached your site's full potential.

I think about adsense, because affiliate products need in updating again, again and again.

You don't need more then one page to sell. if you have a good product, you can sell on the first page. more pages can rank good on serp's for other keywords and bring you more clients. more clients = more leads for sell ;)

This is not true, I never add fresh content to my website ranking in the top 10 with 30,000,000 competition and it sticks quite nicely. If my site ever drops to page 2-3 I build a few back links. Easy Peasy.

I think as long as your on-page SEO is decent or on par with the top 10 competitors for your desired keyword, it is all a matter of building quality back links to achieve that top 10 position.

I would say it was possible, but those six pages must be very compelling and must get a lot of traffic. The content must be remarkable so that you get enough links to it to drive each page up the search engine results and each page must rank for keywords that are highly sought after. However, I would also say it's not likely without spending money to drive the traffic from a source like Adwords, etc.

That's because keywords that get that much traffic are going to be very competitive and with only six pages, you don't have much chance to get into the SEs good graces. It's usually easier to win for less sought after keywords while you build visitor trust and climb the rankings for your more competitive pages.

Also, if you're going to use Adwords to drive traffic to a site like that, you better know what you're doing or you'll be spending a lot of hard-earned money through trial and error.

Personally, I prefer to use Ken Evoy's techniques about sitebuilding because the risk is lower and after awhile, the free search engine traffic just grows on its own. After you get over the hump, your site/business grows effortlessly.

Some books on the subject that can help you are Make Your Site Sell and Make Your Words Sell and Make Your Links Work. All of them are free and you can download them off the net. Just do a Google search for each of them and you'll find them. They're pretty well known.
