I bought a couple domains via buy now on godaddy auctions. It saids in the conditions the owner has 7 days to renew the domain, if they do i get a refund. I was wondering if this normally happens in most cases, that the owner doesn't renew the domain within the 7 day period?

I buy domains from TDNAM all the time and it hasn't happened yet, not even after a $1k+ auction. You're probably safe as long as you don't overly promote the new domain before it's yours. :)

Yes, i've once experienced the condition you described above. I've bought a PR3 expired domain for $12,5 and godaddy tels me to wait for 7-10 days for a domain transfer. they also said that if the previous owner decided to extend the domain then i got a full refund.

It turns out, 4 days later the previous owner claimed the domain back so I got my money back. it gives me a feeling of regret cause I wanted to own the domain. it is good n valid PR3 domain with lots of back links. :(

sorry for the intermezzo :) i just feel that i need to tell you the story :)
