First you need to figure out what your niche is going to be about. Pick something that you know a lot about and you can write great content. Then get yourself a website. Can go the free route and go to blogger or wordpress or get your own hosting. Then just write away! Read the forums on link building. Test using trial and error.
I'd recommend you to create a website about something you know a lot, or something you are passionate about, and then put some paid ads on your website. Promote your new site as much as possible, and results will arrive sooner or later

very easy way: 1) Get yourself a website with good niche 2) post some original content 3) sign up for google adsense 4) do seo & other affiliates
well, $20 seem to be not a big amount but it is not easy to achieve if you just simply do like create website, add content, simply do some seo. To be frank, at least few thousand peoples trying the samething everyday and the outcome was after 3 months, xxx peoples making $5 over 3 months and gave up. xx peoples making $50 over 3 months and keep on trying and follow others step. And x peoples making $3000 over three month by using their own mind to think, and learn from others and tweak the method. which category you want to be is up to you, but simply following other's step doesn't mean you will making good money.
Know your strengths first. If you think you do not possess any good skills like writing, coding or designing, then you need to be smart and invest some amount to hire people to earn many time more than your investment in shortest time possible. But you need to learn those all things and in the initial stages, i do not suggest you to be in the hiring business. It is for more experience people. Spare some good time of your daily life in the field which interests and money follows later slowly but gradually.
