hi, i am wondering which are the best sites to announce your affiliate program on? i found one called affiliatescout.com and that has referred me many affiliates.. now i'm looking for more but most of them want $200 or more.. any cheap good alternatives you guys can recommend??
AffiliateScout is working for you? That's great, I didn't think affiliate directories pulled that well any more. There are lots of other affiliate directories, most are free. AssociatePrograms is one of the best. You can also announce your program on many affiliate forums. You just need to find the right section of each forum and read their rules.
Why not spend a few dollars on an outsourcing site and let some deserving person post your offer into as many "affiliate directory" sites as are available? You'd be surprised that some companies charge only $14 to do it. Start with a search and use your time more productively.
hi, yes, affiliatescout has brought in a few affiliates who have made a few sales.. but then we have a very generous affiliate program, so it may also be because of that kcpa: thanks for the suggestion outsourcing does seem like a much better option.. i'll do a quick forum search to see if anyone is offering this service here.
You could try something like OfferVault. But really isn't this something that someone RUNNING an affiliate program should know about? Or are you talking about a specific merchant joining CJ or Linkshare?
I agree, AssociatePrograms is great for directories and for their forum. Like mention always read the rules before posting to prevent getting banned!!
I am interested in this thread as well. As a merchant, has anyone used any good affiliate directory outsourcing submission sites? What other forums are there to promote your affiliate program, as most see any type of promotion as unauthorized spam.
@5staraff: i checked out affiliatefirst but their order page reads "Please Note: Due to changes and upgrades to our website, we will be suspending our Submission Service until further notice. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.".. guess they're no longer accepting new orders :/ @thesilly1: thanks for the suggestions.. not sure what you mean by the 2nd para but just to be clear, i'm not looking for affiliate programs but looking for places where i can put my own site for other affiliates to see. @JeffCliff: yep.. AP is another great place.. i haven't had the chance to put up something here (i'm not sure why i've kept putting this off) but i'll do so immediately
My forum has a section for Affiliate Program Announcements. (Toward the bottom of the forum in the MarketPlace.) You just need to read the rules and program announcements stay moderated until we can check and verify. I think several other affiliate forums allow, but many of them are pretty low moderation and therefore filled with so much spam, you can just get lost in the noise. You just have to do a Google search for affiliate forums and check them out to see which ones allow affiliate program ads, but many do. navneetrai - sorry I didn't know AffiliateFirst cancelled their submission service.
just joined AP.. thanks for pointing the obvious @5starAffiliates: thanks for the suggestion nonetheless. btw just checked out your site too.. looks amazing.. is there a featured listing like AP i can buy? i'm still looking thru the site though
I have a full promotional package that includes a lot more than a featured listing. It also includes promotion on the 5 Star affiliate blog, affiliate forum, 5 Star directory, monthly newsletter and a lot more. I'm very selective about the companies I represent however and many companies don't meet our 5 Star criteria. Also I am often sold out for some categories, so it depends on your company and what type of affiliate program you have. Feel free to send me a PM with your URL and I'll take a look.
why not join CJ? by joined them, ur product will be market by thousands internet marketer that cj have. what do u think?
melly8, CJ charges over $5,000 to get set up on and does not accept all affiliate programs. So it's an option for a merchant that's looking for a network to join, but navneetrai was just asking for sites he could announce his program on.
