Hi I'm building up a website. I want to focus first on getting traffic in so i can sell my website ad space to companies. I was wondering what do these companies look for? is it amount of visitors in one month or what? I have google analytics in is that accurate like when i get ready to show companies how much traffic i get. any advice would be valued
Yep, traffic and how sticky it is as well. Analytics typically seems to work. I would not hurt to install something like stat counter as well so you can cross reference traffic in terms of proving it. Unless of course its obvious. If they have a clue they are in search of relevant sites. That plays a part as well so it sort of depends on your demographic. Nigel
you mean sticky like bounce rate? if so whats a good bounce rate i started out at 80% now i'm at 56% only been up two weeks
Well, the value of your website is determined by many factors.Traffic is just one of them. The influence of it in its field is also important. What's more, the product and the loyalty of its potential customers or new customers also play a big role.
well lets say i had a 1.75 million page views on average for three months and got my bounce to around 40% and it was christian dating would that attract some places like mabey best buy or something like that?
Epertwebbuilder i would think that they have brokers. they have them for everything else but not for sure.
