YouTube is now serving over one billion views per day as it celebrates the third anniversary of being acquired by Google. What an achievement? What do you think - how they achieved this milestone?
Google is a successful company, and I really think they did a lot to make YouTube big after they bought it.

It seems like yesterday that google was just starting and was unheard of. I remember my uncle buying google stocks. He spent around $5,000 buying stocks from google, but after a while, he sold around $1,000 worth since he wasn't seeing any big improvement from google. He kept the other $4,000. Now, he's a MILLIONAIRE. He still buys google stocks (I think), and he has his own businesses. He can afford to pay for his children's tuitions. He has two sons that are going to Harvard and another daughter that is going to attend Princeton next fall. He supports me as well btw. How time flies by. I'm proud of google and I hope they keep this up!
days ago, if you visited youtube.com the youtube logo changed become youtube '1 billion views per day' it was so amazing.. google rules the web
Yes, you can do that with a different type of website but I think youtube is loosing money every month. The more views they have, the more money they loose.
The success is partly due to the google brand image and the rest is filled by people's voluntary participation.
Wow... this is really a milestone (Millionstone?) in YouTube era. Although there are many other sites similar to Youtube, nobody can compromise with the quality of Youtube. ALL THE BEST YOUTUBE!!!
