right now i use Servint, Dreamhost, LunarPages, and FatCow.

Previously also used Hostgator but their dedicated server became too expensive at some point, so I switched to Servint.

Well i have used hosting services of couple of top web hosting companies, in last five year, i think blue host is the best..... on the other hand: experience may vary from person to person.

I had to register just to say this, Dreamhost VPS is a sham. they charge u for resources you are not using. Judt so you can upgrade to a higher plan. I found this out when I changed my NameServer to another server and my resources stayed where they were at for 2 days! If you have there VPS plan you might as well look else ware. Now there shared server hosting. that's different most are good the only thing you gotta worry about is host many people are on that server but you'll never know. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

Currently, I have a hosting package with hawkhost, nearlyfreespeech, and slicehost. And I'd recommend all of them, but each has different purpose.

I've been meaning to give 10tb.com a whirl when I need a dedicated machine (and a crap ton of bandwidth). Haven't used them yet, but have heard nothing but good things. Plus, they're hosted on the softlayer network.
