What I mean is , I personally see a huge benefit for premium-sellers who have threads (auto-close) with the feature to stick to top, 2 hours before sale ends. But the premium member's thread without the auto close does not seem to enjoy alot of benifit. Regular as well as the premium both will enjoy the first page for about 2 days. As for duplicate thread, I always thought there should be a restriction of threads you can start each month. Maybe premium members start more threads compared to regular members These are just my thoughts
Well in the end, it's really up to the poster... if they don't want the benefit of 2 hours on the end of their sale, it's completely up to them. And again, you don't have to auto-close your thread to use it... you just have to specify a time for the sale to end.
It'll be good to have a 1 month for @$15 sunbscription,(EDIT: Ok, i see its already been done) since its fairly new and no one knows how it'll go. Also If Someone buys a 6 month subscription and after 10 days gets banned for 6 months, would he be eligible for an *extension* or a refund? How about giving premium users the option to choose when their thread is stickied? Like they can sticky their thread for *any* 4 hours (in 2 batches of 2 hours) during the lifetime of the thread. Whether they have an end date or not, if they have an end date 1 hour extra sticky time before it ends. What say?
If you are worried about getting banned, don't get it (there is a note about that in the description already). Certainly isn't worth anyone's money who is prone to being banned. Doubtful.
Helvetii makes a good point though. If I purchase a year and get banned 6 months into it for 6 months, can I finish the other 6 months when I'm unbanned?
Nope, there isn't currently a mechanism to handle that (maybe down the road). Which is why I put the note in the description.
I tried subscribing, but there's a problem I noticed. Because the subscription is recurring we need to have a valid CC on our PP account (I'm verified but CC expired, so basically PP wants me to add another CC). Any way to go around it? probably making the 1 month membership non-recurring will solve this issue?
