    What is the maximum money that one can earn by opening and running a directory website.

    Owners of directory websites can answer and it would trigger others to open directory websites.

    They would be starting a directory for all the wrong reasons. You can see examples of this here on a daily basis.

    I dont think anyone really thinks about how much they can grab from it now, it's a lot harder than about 2 years ago.

    Rather than thinking of how much you can make from a directory, you are better off thinking about how much work it might take to make one anything other than the many already out there.

    If you have no special plans for a directory then the fortune fairy has no special suprises for you. :)

    As other said you need to put very much work into this to earn money from this. You`ll need a very good website with unique features to earn money, but in the first months you`ll earn nothing. ;)

    I think the question should be: what amount of work and money are you willing to put to create {then run$$} a good directory to even think of making any money income out of it (from submitters that care to follow your guidelines)?

    Directories are hard to make money unless you are very established. Try doing it as a hobby if possible.

    If your motivation is to earn lots of money running a directory, I'd suggest doing something else. The motivation behind any directory should be to provide VALUE. Do that and you will see earnings!

    it requires alot of effort to earn from directories nywz if u have a good quality directory and running on regularly bases quality submissions with a goood PR then it will help u to provide you $$$ for 3 time daily food stuff expenses hahah
