    Hello,
I'm making a list of article directories for article marketing and I found that some of them are do follow and the others nofollow, so what's the difference between them?

Nofollow article directories will put attribute rel=nofollow for links. Dofollow ones won't ;-)

nofollow would be much of waste of time, dofollow is where the PR juice lies

Thanks :) But nofollow isn't waste of time. Even if it doesn't influence your PR, it can make a bit of traffic :)

NF isn't really a waste of time - at least for direct traffic. If you are talking about SERPs - then yes, it wouldn't help.

No follow means the crawler is not allowed to come on that side, and do follow means crawler is allowed to come.
No follow is useless and do follow is useful for SEO.

95% people submit to article directories for backlinks. So, if we get zero traffic but a valuable backlink, job well done.

EzineArticles is by far the best ranking article site. You get given a week of a free article marketing course, you get tips and help as you write an article (e.g. keyword stuffing alert) and once published, expect to see it on the first page if the search term has less than 500,000 search results. If you Google "weight loss rip offs" without speech marks you'll see I'm in 4th place. My article was put in Google within a few hours of publishing live on the site.

Only problem I can see is long article review waiting times, which is why you should get writing and write 10-25 articles and become an expert author with much faster review times (2-3 days instead of 2-3 weeks). GoArticles is good to because you don't need your article to be reviewed to be posted, and you can put aff. links in your article.

    And that's my 2 cents.

You have a nice idea about promoting you articles in signature links which in turn points to your website :D

If I post one article to 100 dofollow article directories do i get 100 backlinks or be convicted to content duplication...if the author is same?

    I also use Web-Rankers.com

because they review the artilces fast, and they tend to show up quickly in the search engines and they let you add to DO FOLLOW links per article.

I have read that if you post the same article to many directories it will be convicted to content duplication and you won't get 100 backlinks. But anyway it drives more traffic to your website :)

I went through over 10 articles there and not one has an external linkback. Looks like they strip out all backlinks and just put their own links there. No one should submit to this rip-off directory.

Web-Rankers does allow links - you probably saw the content that they add themselves.

Look again as i know that they do not strip links. They are one of my top submission sites that have given me great results. Also your article will not get buried as fast like it does at some of the really big sites.

Well, there are plenty of other directories that use dofollow links, so there's really not much of a reason for submitting your content to no-follow directories,.

I've pretty much taken the no-follow ones off my roster for now, and I'm substituting
    dofollow ones.

That's not the only thing you should be looking for, but I think it's an important one.

I recently wrote an article for EZA on what to look for when choosing a directory:

    http://budurl.com/uy3y

I came up with 15 criteria, but I'm open to additional ones ;-)

Fo rme no follow and do follow is good for different purpose , if you are looking for back link,no follow has no value, but if looking for traffic do follow and nofollow would carry same significant

EzineArticles is the best, just write quality articles (10-25) and you'll soon be upgraded to pro membership or whatever and get faster review times which can take just a couple of days to review an article. For me, it's worth it considering it's free and they could easily charge for their services.

a dofollow directory is recommended, especially if they accept links inside the body of the article. Contextual links have better weight for google.
