Does size matter?

    I just want to find out does the banner size matter? or just a myth?

    I've heard a lot of people saying this banner size is earning more than the other banner size even though both sizes have the same keywords.

    if this is true, which banner size do you think is the most effective and most earned on a website/blog...?

    please confirm.

    The size does matter because some size can attract the visitor's attention. And it directly increase the chance of getting click

    i am not talking about which size can attract more click.

    Let assume web A have the same numbers of clicks/impressions, same contents, same keywords (everything is the same) to web B, some how web B has size 728x90 and web A does not then web B earned more than web A.

    is there such a thing like that?

    Size matter just because probability to hit an ads increase with the size. If you have image ads the probability increase more...

    Regardless of size, banner ads have always paid much less for me than text ads. So maybe consider a giant text ad instead.

    There isn't an easy answer, since it depends on the layout on your site, your visitors, etc - test different sizes and see what works best on your site.

    Size does matter when it comes to adsense ads being clicked by the visitors. The link ads when suitably blended with other navigation links get more attention and thereby clicks. Large and medium rectangular ad formats when blended with texts get more clicks. However, there is a word of caution. Never overdo the blending part and too much blending has its own peril in the form of account being disabled by the google. Before blending, make yourself comfortable with the adsense TOS :)

    Size does matter. The more visible it is the more likely that its going to get noticed and get clicked. But it must be blended well into the site to work. If is too visible, the ads will get noticed and will probably get ignored.

    Bigger is better
    Use large rectangle or wide banners with large fonts. This increases CTR
