THIS is why we're at war.

This is a great argument. God creates genetics as the building blocks of the people he's creating but forgets to tell the people about the equipment he's given them. Yeah right.

I find pond life much more believable.

Famous last words... Let's see how long that lasts.

From the thread, or the entire board? Please save face now, don't renege.

I already told you why: it doesn't concern our eternal salvation. Go back and re-read my post instead of taking it out of context.

It's funny because people that are losing an argument tend to opt out of it by bashing the other guy saying "your posts are unintelligent" and denying straight facts. Then, you think it makes me mad because I can't "defend myself" against your post because you "won't read it". I prefer to avoid using PM system for debate topics since it could mean I have something to hide. Which I don't.

So, since you're done with this thread, I can safely ignore your post and say I am the winner of our little debate :) Which isn't saying much, since DNA and evolution has nothing to do with the war we're fighting right now in the Middle East area.

Are we ready to get back on topic now? I don't want any other evolution/dna/creationism discussion in this thread. There's others for that or make your own. But don't hijack my thread for your own purposes.

You have no room to talk. After reading just one post of mine you insulted me. As you can see when someone bashes you, that isn't real debate. But it works both ways. You shouldn't insult people, you should discuss the facts and how you interpret them.

Lol, that post isn't an insult, it's the truth. And Mia practically said the exact same thing, yet you only seem to target me on your reply. Interesting.

Besides, it's part of what mvandemar threw at me, I figure I should explain what he's doing. And since nothing in that post you quoted is aimed at you, I figure you get insulted too easily, because I was pointing that reply at mvandemar.

Can we get back to the debate now? Hmm?

You don't know enough about me to know if I'm truly ignorant. And even if it were true, that still does not qualify as debate. I'll repeat myself. Real debate is about facts, issues, ideas, interpretations. It is not about pompously announcing your premature assessment of the other persons qualities or lack of them. But perhaps you are not capable of that kind of intelligent discussion.

I don't have time to keep track of who said what to who in a thread. Maybe you do. I'm not "targeting" you, I'm attempting to communicate with you. Are you being too sensitive?

You can get back to the debate anytime. As far as I'm concerned, you went off track, not me.

LOL I've seen a lot of your posts, and you're anything but intelligent.

Oh, I am, because that's all I do. You need to shut up and stop being ignorant instead of complaining about how you let yourself get offended too easily.

I'm having a real hard time communicating with somebody that's too sensitive - not me, YOU. I'm not taking offense here, YOU are and you said it yourself.

It's a shame you think that (showing how ignorant you really are), because you're the one that brought up how you are offended, which doesn't really relate to the war in Iraq.

You haven't seen a lot of my posts because I don't post a lot.

Never said I was offended, just said calling me ignorant doesn't qualify as debate.

You don't appear to be having a hard time communicating. You appear to be engaging fully.

Again, I did not say I was offended. I am instead criticizing your poor debate skills.

Back to the original post. We aren't in Iraq because of 9/11. We are there because W was determined to go to war, regardless of the facts. The truth is in the Downing St Memo, among other glaringly obvious reports.

As for insisting I am ignorant, I am beginning to think you protest too much, if you don't get that, spend some time reading Shakespeare.

Well I said I saw a lot OF your posts (ie. a high percentage of them here), I didn't say you posted a lot..

Uh, yeah you did, you said you were insulted.

And I'm criticising yours, since you're really taking us off topic.

Apparently, you're DETERMINED to think that, regardless of the facts. The truth is we were attacked by terrorists and now we're at war against them.

I'll say this... *yet again* ... we are in Iraq BECAUSE:

    1. Disband an evil terrorist dictator that was paying parents to strap bombs on their kids and send them into buildings
    2. Destroy WMD factories and the beginnings of their WMD regime
    3. Stop the terrorist breeding grounds and passage of terrorists through that country
    4. Free millions and millions of people from being biologically bombed and dictated

So tell me what's so bad about this?

Well 2 &3 are pretty much not true, 4 is also questionable I'm not actually sure Saddam used biological agents I thought ne used nerve agents, and the present situation in Iraq is not looking better then being "dictated"

ferret you have to keep ignoring the facts and the truth, it's the only way to possibly continue supporting george bush and certainly the only way to be a patriot ;)

Well then I cannot debate you on those any longer since you refuse to accept the facts.

AND Afghanistan. And, Where is the Iraqi army? :D I believe it's being rebuilt to fight the terrorists harboring it's country, not fighting our troops.

Not necessarily, but if they attack there why not here? (They did btw)

They had them but had no functional longer-range WMDs, thank goodness.

Not to overthrow every government in the world - you're taking this WAYY out of proportion to make my points seem ridiculous, when really it's your rebuttals that are stupid. We are destroying terrorists that have, will, and want to attack us.

Africa does not pose an immediate threat to us and the world ;)

    LOL.

Actually, he appears to be immune to the same brainwashing you have been accustom to via the liberal media outlets.

    Mujahedeen-e-Khalq
    Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK)
    Abu Nidal Organization
    Islamist Hamas
    Palestinian suicide bombers

The reason you did not hear about it was they were under Saddam's control. HE typically supported terrorist groups that could hurt his enemies, while at the same time, leaving him and his people alone. Saddam liked to hurt his own people personally. Saddam seemed to favor secular terrorist groups over al-qauda, though there is no doubt they were there as well.

Anyway, you are still under the assumption that we entered Iraq because of 9/11, which is untrue. We went there to remove a dictator and restore peace and democracy to the region. In that goal, we are much further ahead than the US was in it's own independence if you follow the same timeline.
