I bought a domain name about two months ago, developed it, wrote original content for it, added a member forum for people to post on. Then I realized that the domain was not in google, not even a parked page. I have since submitted several reconsideration requests to google, each a few weeks apart. I got a message back each time telling me "We received your request, and if we find your website no longer violates our guidelines we will..." you know. But the domain is still not indexed. Im frustrated, I want the forums to become active, and maybe sell weight loss stuff after its gets popular. Does anyone know a way to contact google directly about this? They indexed my other websites fast, very fast infact. But this one is soo slow. Is there a tool somewhere to inquire about a penalty, and why it was imposed? EDIT: Website has 20 pages, With Valid Sitemap Sent to Google.
what do you see when you give the command, site:sitename.com or just check with your domain.com in google search
Pretty bad that you're unable to check first it's status on Google. Good thing your site seemed like in reconsideration now, make sure you're putting some quality inputs to your site, keep them up and surely soon it will be loved by Google.
My case is probably similar with you, the domain was registered around 10 days before, vertified the site ane submit vaild sitemap to the webmaster tools, I can't find any page that indexed by google in the coming month.
I had a similar issue, but I don't think there is any other solution except for requesting through WMT. You can also go to the official Google forum and see if a mod is nice enough to look into it
