    symbolics was the first registered by an outside company for thier own use and not for the actual use of the network.

    Also note that it's a *.net tld.

    I'm more intruiged about how many of those domains are exactly mainstream words etc, they just seem to be company names or just random letters. WHen did the goldrush on registering common words for domains begin?
