Hi, I am posting this second time. I have a page 3 pr site www.everyinsurancequotes.com . I am in top 10 for "local insurance quotes".I make changes in the title tag to add "cheap car insurance quotes". Along with this I did 500 submissions to articles directories and link directories. on keywords "cheap car insurance quotes" ,"cheapest car insurance" ,"auto insurance quotes" and 7 others. I am still not in even top 500 listings.I did all this 2 weeks back. Please help me..
You have chosen highly competitive keywords for your niche as there are about 8 folds more results than your previous keywords. So more struggle in promotion is needed now and also you have to opt for some other ways too besides what you did already.

That is a very competitive field you need backlinks with juice and some more content.
submitting to many backlinks at once is bad too. Google will think you are spamming and hurt your results rather than help them. SEO is a patience game. try submitting to Do Follow sites as well as DO not follow sites using anchor text of your keyword and LSI keywords. ONly do a few a day on each and you will see better results than just throwing 500 articles out there on junk sites.
Get high quality backlinks. The more you get, the higher you rank. Make sure the content is unique, and make sure you post regularly on forums with alot of weight, with your URL in the Profile, and Signature.
one time mass submission to article directories and link directories will not get you ranked for any competitive terms, specially in the insurance niche where the competiton is fierce. you need to keep building backlinks till you get ranked. even hwn you get ranked, you will need to keep building links occationaly to maintain the ranking. while article directory linka dn link directory links are good start, you need to focus on building more quality relevant backlinks.
stop wasting your time with directory links. you need to focus on getting quality one way backlinks. there are thousands of resources online that can teach you how to go about building quality links, just search for it.
submission in too much directories and social media sites or article sites is not good for your website ..... google wont uprank you by doing this all ..... submit your links in do follow and high pr sites , directories n social bookmarks. dont do link building so quickly and wait for some time because seo takes time

It just takes time for these kind of changes to filter through. You shouldn't expect them to happen overnight (or in 2 weeks). Just maintain the linkbuilding (try & get some high quality bookmarking done too) & you should see your site start to come in for your new keywords. Likely, it will not appear very high at first, but again, just give it time.
Listen to 5kniL - it can take over a month for the changes to filter through and link building campaigns take time anyway. Try to remember that a good quality backlink is worth 10+ low quality ones.
it's a new domain, no profile and so just mass submissions will not help you out. You need consistent links since the niche is competitive.

Those generic, fairly new, link directories with low-pr are considered low quality backlinks. For argument's sake a backlink from an established insurance quote website would be considered a good quality backlink. What you need to do is identify the best longtail keywords you can possibly rank for then optimize your website for them and begin an aggressive backlinking campaign.
