Swift code of HDFC BANK doesnt work on moneybookers

    swiftcode of hdfc bank is not working in moneybookers acount

    Moneybookers shows this message :

    what am i supposed to do ?

    Have you contacted your bank and rechecking your entered SWIFT code with them ?

    EDIT : the phone banker gave me wrong information initially ..

    The SWIFT CODE of HDFC Bank : HDFCINBBXXX.

    Note: There is no separate SWIFT code for our individual branches. The above mentioned HDFC Bank Swift code can be used for remitting funds to HDFC bank anywhere in India.

    source:HDFC, but to narrowing the process, you can use the state capital no for all the branches in the state.

    example if bank with HDFC vizag. but mention the code of HYD. as HDFCINBBHYD just give your account no in which it is. that is it.

    Any time I need to confirm swift codes I head over to SWIFT's web site (at swift.com) where they have up-to-date lookups. They will also tell you if that swift code is active.

    Well there is no issue with HDFB bank receiving system . we are receiving huge amount of fund betweek 20,000 to 30,000 Per month in HDFC only No issue with bank , just locate your branch . to get Perticuler SWIFT code ...
