These more experienced pornsters exchange links with one another. Like exchanging ads. You've probably seen a section in a site that has a title of "friends," or, "partners." And underneath it are other sites to go to.

They also do a lot of advertising.

That's how they get thousands of daily hits.

porn is big business and there are a lot of money involved. Big budgets allows to buy a lot of domains which are being search engine optimized (often black hat) and they are using huge resources to increase their search engine rankings.

By utilizing black hat SEO techniques they might get penalized, but that doesn't matter if you did earn xxx.000 $ for that one week you were able to rank as #1 in Google for a high traffic and relevant keyword or phrase.

Optimizing affiliate sites like this has been more and more usual.
Aggressively spamming through different channels is not unusual.

 

Even YouPorn had to knock out competition.

 

But why throw away the other 999,000 hits no matter what country they are from because advertisers still pay for those hits you are just throwing your money away.

Most of the big ones probably started rather early.
But I guess a good thign with digital images is that they can viral on things like Google Videos. The person clicking on the video isn't so much concerned with how much traffic is on your website but whether your video is good content. (true of all industries)
SEO just isn't as easy to do these days though.

 

We don't mind that sites even they pull a lot of traffic, we cannot get sales with them. We all know what they're up to..

First the market is saturated and second how many people really pay for porn. I know there are some single guys or married or whatever that do but I just think there is so much free stuff out there that most people wouldn't be willing to fork over money for it these days.
