need WP plugin to extract new posts from select blogs

    Want to start a blog where I can have articles and latest posts displayed from a few blogs I hand select.

    Something like http://winterwind.com/news/

    If possible, also a plugin allowing me to post a link to an article and have that one displayed as well with 3-4 lines from the article and then the link.

    Yes, I just use wp-o-matic. It's clever and useful. but you have to search for the source website whose RSS feed allowed to fully retrived the posts/documents.

    WP O Matic has not been updated in ages and is not compatible with WP 2.8.4
