Adsense disabled on some pages - and service announcements | HELP!

Hi guys, I need help. My adsense took a bomb the last two days.

I am compliance with adsense rules as far as I know. I don't do any blackhat stuff and my site is about guitars and instruments... nothing that should throw a flag to google. It's a good clean site with rich unique content. It's been going strong for 2 years without a problem then suddenly *some* pages lost the adsense, all I get is blank spots or service announcements.

I don't have more than 3 adsense ads per page and my site is in the united states and the server is through host gator and the software is wordpress.

Now this may be a coincident, I don't know, but HostGator admin went into my account and installed WP-SUPER-CACHE plugin on my wordpress and that's about the time when I noticed things have gone funny.

I did a quick search on WP-SUPER-CACHE and found other people make claims to their adsense going funny too, but other members in the forum say WP-SUPER-CACHE has nothing to do with adsense nor will it affect it in anyway.

I contacted hostgator support and they tell me the same thing WP-SUPER-CACHE is not the issue.

I am flabbergasted to what's going on. I am losing lots of money that helps support the site.

Please help. If you had similar issues, please post here. I need a solution and quick.

Something doesn't make sense here. Why would Hostgator admins be going into your account and installing plugins?

What pages are the public service ads showing on or blank spots? I know I have several articles that this happens on because I wrote about sex in one way or another. Didn't show sex or write graphically just wrote about a news story.

I thought it was odd that hostgator did this too. They sent me a support ticket out of the blue.

Here is the just of the support ticket:

I contacted them via chat and this is indeed true.

What else is odd is the adsense has worked perfectly on these old pages for the past year. They are not new pages, they have been there for months (almost a year). Nothing is about sex or drugs or violence. It's all about a guitar and guitar amplifier. I have no idea what triggered this.

adsense TOS says you must have a compliant privacy policy but your site doesn't have one. This won't stop your ads displaying but it can lead to a ban from adsense

can you post some links to pages where your ads are not displaying?

What do you mean a compliant privacy policy? I never reveal my clicks or revenue. I'm not sure what you mean by this. Can you elaborate more on the subject as I want to make sure that the site is 100% compliant. I am about to change all the ads to affiliate banners until adsense get whatever it is is sorted. I did change the sidebar banner code to another adsense code on another account just to see if it'd pick up. It appears to have went solid blue color.

    This link adsense works:

    This adsense does not work:

(notice the date published October of 2008 - it has worked up until now)

Disable it and test it. If the Adsense Bot can not read the code on your page it's a problem. I do a ton of WordPress sites but I do not use that plugin.

the Adsense TOS states that all sites using adsense must display a compliant privacy policy that mentions DART cookies etc - you can copy mine from http://www.guide2prince.org/prince-discography/privacy-policy/ if you wish - just change the urls to suit

on the page showing psa's i'd be tempted to recreate the adsense advert/code and repaiste it into your page - it looks to me like it thinks you page is in a foreign language

I notice also you have the snippet for google analyctics at the top of you page, ideally these should be placed in the footer of your theme

Thanks for the help. I'll try and find this analytics code that you pointed out. I don't see it, but I certainly want it corrected. I'm using the analytics plugin.

I'll also add the privacy statement as you suggested. Thanks again

you may also want to check your wordpress privacy settings and make sure they are set correctly to allow all visitors. a new wordpress update changed the settings for these on some blogs to only allowing some visitors, and disallowing the googlebots - which makes public service ads show as well.

Like I said, I never had a problem until yesterday. My income has taken a HUGE hit.

i see psa's on the second link and the google text at the bottom is in something like arabic

i think the op should try section targetting - see http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Fadsense%2Fsupport%2Fbin%2Fanswer.py%3Fhl%3Den%26answer%3D23168&ei=dJ3NSrWDOdWw4QbousWGAw&usg=AFQjCNGkwQ0AnqHOan79TxG9lIlJreceyA&sig2=9GCdDRuNNBy_SdjYSWTwYg

if that fails disable and delete the WP-supercache plugin and see if adsense perfoms properly - if it does then install the plugin from scratch then re-enable the plugin and go through all the options for it carefully. I use wp-supercahce on all my sites without any problems.

One thing i diont understand is how hostgator installed a plugin into your Wordpress without admin access?
